Marine Trace supplies a broad range of trace elements demonstrated to be necessary for proper fish health and growth. Unlike terrestrial animals, fish obtain nutrients from both their food and environment. Trace elements are normally depleted by utilization, oxidation and precipitation, thus it is important to restore them on a regular basis. Marine Trace contains only those elements actually demonstrated to be required by fish.

Seachem Matrix Bio Media is a highly porous media designed to provide exceptionally efficient biofiltration for single site removal of ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate from freshwater, marine, and reef aquaria.
- Premium natural bio-filter support media
- Removes ammonia, nitrite and nitrate from fresh, salt and reef tanks
- 1 liter is equivalent to over 40 L of typical plastic ball media
Each liter of Matrix provides over 160,000 cm2 (170 sq. ft.) of surface, equivalent to over 40 L (10 gallons) of typical plastic ball media! This product is sold by volume. Cited weight is minimal weight.
Directions: Use 500 mL of Matrix for each 200 L (50 gallons) of water. Matrix may be placed in any kind of filter, and is particularly effective in a canister filter. Matrix is sufficiently large that no filter bag should be required for most applications. Matrix works well in drip tray systems, but you may find that the larger Pond Matrix is better suited for such applications.

Matrix carbon is a truly unique Activated carbon. It is formed as a spherical bead for optimum hydrodynamics, and will not pack. It permits maximum water flow and contact with its high density of microporous binding sites. Matrix carbon has a very low ash content as indicated by its minimal impact on ph. Even when added to distilled water, it does not raise pH above 7.0. While all carbons contain phosphate, regardless of false claims to the contrary, matrix carbon has the Lowest detectable leachable phosphate content of all major carbon brands tested. Matrix carbon outperforms other high grade carbons by at least two-fold when compared for total capacity to remove aquarium organic matter, rate of adsorption, and duration of use.
- No Binding or packing
- Will not raise pH over 7.0
- High performance
Seachem Zip Bags are secure filter bags that feature durable seams and a corrosive-proof zipper.
- Easily Holds 1 Liter of Filter Media
- Durable Seams
- Corrosion-Proof Zipper
- No Strings or Ties
- 12.5" x 5.5" Ideal for Intermediate Sized Filter Media
Seachem MetroPlex treats several common protozoan parasites and bacterial diseases in aquarium fish, including Cryptocaryon, Hexamita, and Ichthyophthirius (Ich). This safe, effective treatment does not adversely affect the filter bed and can be easily removed with carbon. Safe for freshwater and saltwater (marine) aquariums.
- Treats protozoan parasites and anaerobic bacterial diseases
- Use to treat Ich, Cryptocaryon and Hexamita
- For saltwater and freshwater aquariums
Directions: Use 1-2 measures (included) for every 10 gallons (40 L). Repeat every 2 days for up to 3 weeks or until symptoms disappear. Turn off UV, ozone, and filtration. To feed, blend 1 measure with about 1 tablespoon of frozen food paste. To minimize loss during feeding use with Focus. To enhance palatability use with GarlicGuard or Entice. Food may be refrozen.
Seachem NeoPlex Broad Spectrum Antibiotic is effective against most external infections. When used as directed NeoPlex will not discolor the water or damage the filter bed and is well tolerated by most invertebrates. Neoplex is safe for both marine and freshwater fish.
- Treats external fungal and bacterial disease
- For marine & freshwater
- Will not discolor water
Seachem Neutral Regulator adjusts pH to neutral (pH 7.0) from either a low or high pH and maintains it there. It softens water by precipitating calcium and magnesium while removing any chlorine, chloramine, or ammonia.
- Adjusts high or low pH to 7.0
- Removes chlorine, chloramines and ammonia
- Makes other conditioning unnecessary
The use of SeaChem Neutral Regulator makes other conditioning unnecessary. To lower pH below 7.0 use Neutral Regulator with Acid Regulator (or Discus Buffer). To raise pH above 7.0 use with Alkaline Regulator. All of these products will enhance and stabilize the freshwater aquarium environment.
Use Fresh Trace to restore the proper level of trace elements required by thriving, healthy freshwater community fish.

The sachem algae pad is a non-scratch, dual-surface algae pad that is suitable for use on Glass or acrylic tanks. Designed with micro-abrasive technology with an added durable scrubbing side.
- For glass or Acrylic
- No soaps or detergents
- Effectively removes algae
- FOUR
The Seachem Algae Pads (3 Pack) are non-scratch algae pads for glass & acrylic. The melamine foam uses micro abrasive technology to easily remove algae from the sides of your aquarium. They are particularly effective at removing algae from scratches. They are chemically inert and does not use soaps or detergents. Their white color contrasts against dark algae making it easier to see when areas are fully clean.
- 4.5" x 2.5"
- 25 mm Thick
- 3 Pack
Seachem One Year Combo Alert uses Seachem water sensor technology to continuously monitor ammonia and freshwater pH in your aquarium for an entire year, no tests or strips required. All you have to do is hang it in your tank!
- Continuous freshwater pH and ammonia readings
- No strips, no tests, just constant readings
- Easy monitoring - just hang in your tank
Ammonia Alert: The sensor automatically detects free ammonia at levels less than 0.05 mg/L (ppm) and alerts you to the presence of the primary killer of fish before it reaches hazardous levels and causes signs of stress. In the absence of free ammonia the sensor will assume a yellow color, and will move to green and blue as more ammonia is detected. Ammonia is detected continuously with a response time of just 15 minutes, allowing you to respond immediately and avoid further increases. Ammonia Alert lasts over 9 times as long as competing products, and is only about half the size.
pH Alert: pH is constantly monitored, with a sensor that alerts you to shifts in pH levels between 5.4 and 8.0 (freshwater only). It lasts up to 4 times as long as competing products and is small, clear, and unobtrusive when in the tank.
Seachem ParaGuard is the only fish and filter safe aldehyde based (10% by weight) parasite control product available. Unlike highly toxic and difficult to use formalin based medications, Seachem ParaGuard contains no formaldehyde or methanol and will not alter pH.
- Parasite Control for marine or freshwater aquariums
- Contains no toxic methanol and will not alter pH
- Safe alternative to formalin
Seachem ParaGuard employs a proprietary, synergistic blend of aldehydes, malachite green, and fish protective polymers that effectively and efficiently eradicates many ectoparasites (e.g. ich, etc.) and external fungal/bacterial/viral lesions (e.g., fin rot).
It is particularly useful in hospital and receiving tanks for new fish and whenever new fish are introduced to a community tank.
DIRECTIONS: In the aquarium, use 5 mL (1 capful) to every 40 L (10 gallons). Repeat daily as required as long as fish show no stress. For 1 hour dips, use 3 mL per 4 L (1 gallon). Dips may be extended if fish show no evidence of stress. In case of eye exposure, promptly and thoroughly wash eyes with water and seek medical attention.
